 "Short Paris stay"
We enjoyed our stay at the Richmond hotel in Paris, the location was great, staff very friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable, especially the roomy bathroom and shower. I requested a room away from traffic noise and was given a room at the rear, very happy. Breakfast good

 "Richmond hotel, try: OUT with the OLD and IN with the NEW!"
not too much to say about it really, its location is :( sadly next to the station, or opposite it, you have to watch your wallet, bag/kids at all times. It smells terrible around the station and we avoided walking around it. Luckily the Metro enterance is just 10m away from the frontdoor of the hotel. To be honest I expected a little more for the price we paid but in general the staff was nice. The room was very clean on arrival, but didn't get hoovered for the next 3 days. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was awful. OLD OLD Rugs and sheets and sausage pillows :( -but to be fair beds were made up daily! We only used the shower once as it just looked absolutly rotten and old. so did the rest of the bathroom and bedroom. It could really do with a total renovation, we also had to go to reception for toilet-paper as the 'phone' just never got anwsered. The safe in the room did not work. The TV only had french channels (which was not a problem, but just good to know).I feel cheated for the price I paid.AND I would not reccommend it to anybody.

 "quality price was ok."
The hotel is old, shabby but clean. The whole place badly needs a make over. But the service was very good, very friendly. I would not recommend a breakfast which is in the New Hotel around the corner in a cellar. There are many other restaurants in the neighbourhood where you have a much better ambience for the same breakfast price.The location is very good. Just in front of gare du Nord. The Sacre Coeur is only 15 minutes walking. The sleep quality depends where your room is situated. The noise at the street did not bother me. After all you're in Paris.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night , the reason for selecting was the location which is next to Gare du nord station, othrewise it is expensive for the service provided would never reccomend to anyone.

 "an anniversary eye opener"
The hotel was in an excellent place for eurostar, metro and macdonalds! We had to move 3 times in the first 24 hrs as there was no operating safe. Air con was either too hot or freezing and if you were a light sleeper a 24 hour street isn't for you. We had hairs in the bed, even though the sheets were clean. We had to ask for pillows. EverY room had a light not working. The bathrooms were very shabby, tiles and not to uk cleanleness standards. Tere was no tea/coffee making in the room, basic in rthe uk, staff were helpful but we wouldn't return,

 "Hotel Richmond"
This hotel is situated in an excellent location and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. Great for those travelling by Eurostar as it is across the road from the station.

 "Bad place to stay"
The hotel does not have good customer service at all. There was no air condition in the room, TV was not working properly , the most funny thing was that there was no pillow to sleep. They demand more money compare to their service. They should improve their whole service.

 "Couldn't wait to leave"
I booked this 4 day trip for my husbands 65 birthday. Walked into reception was shocked at the dirt. Given room, no bigger than a postage stamp. Went down to reception to ask if this was the superior room I booked was immediately given another room only difference larger bathroom. Pillows non existent more like a door draft stopper. Thought 100€ pn would get a halfway decent room, how wrong was I! After 2nd night wanted to leave even though had paid for 3 nights but couldn't change travel arrangements. If you can afford to pay more do.
