Though it can be tricky to find a budget hotel near Printemps on Boulevard Haussmann, easytobook.com lists some good choices that can save you money. Grand Hotel de Normandie is one of the cheaper hotels in the area and is only 200m from Printemps. Madeleine Opera and Royal Opéra are both located close to Printemps and have some of the cheaper rates in the area. Conversely, luxurious accommodation close to Printemps can be found at Hotel Londres et New York and Hotel Astra Opera, the latter offering 4-star accommodation in a distinguished location. If you like chain hotels these are also easy to find – Adagio Paris Opera and Mercure Opera Garnier Hotel are situated a short distance from Printemps.

Another example of Paris’ popular shopping options, Printemps features a number of hotels in the vicinity. Printemps is a grand department store in Paris that has been around since the 1870's. The facade of the store is an impressive representation of the great Gilded Age. Though Printemps can be found in several locations throughout Paris’ city centre, the flagship store stands prominently on Boulevard Haussmann, close to Paris’ other world famous department store, Galeries Lafayette. Inside Printemps, the many floors of merchandise are divided into houseware, women's fashion and men's clothing. There is also a perfume section which easily compares to Galeries Lafayette. The magnificent stained-glass dome in Printemps allows some beautiful turquoise light cascades to fall into the sixth-floor Café Flo.

Although shoppers may get more attention in Galeries Lafayette, Au Printemps's customer service is outstanding. There are several interpreters at the welcome service in Printemps de la Mode who are specially trained to help you find whatever it is that you need. Printemps also has a tourist discount card which offers a 10% discount on anything in the store. The store is open from Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday from 09:35 to 19:00, and remains open until 21:00 on Thursday evenings. Though the most famous location for Printemps is in the capital’s 9th arrondissement, Printemps can also be found close to Place de la Nation, Centre Pompidou and Place d’Italie, as well as in Tokyo, Jeddah and Andorra.
