"Good location, but tiny bathroom"

I am not a complaining type, but the solo room had such a small shower that I could hardly use it. Everything else was okay, but the bathroom was really disappointing. The hotel is also located near Gare du Nord station where you can go to the towncentre easily with the metro 4 line (pink).

"Right price"

In relationship to the price the hotel was good. Staff is friendly, roms are not cosy, but they are clean, the bed is good. At the moment the Hotel is being redecorated, after that it will be even more recommendable.

"Not the best choice"

The sleeping room was quite small, but totally OK for being a two star hotel.The shower was not well cleaned - the walls and roof was brown of dirt. My friend didnt want to shower since she thought it was disgusting. We asked for cleaning but nothing happened.Our room had a french balcony which pointed to the railway station. This meant that there were som noise from the trains, especially at mornings.There was a free wifi on the room, but it did not work wery well.

"sight seeing with friends for the weekend"

it really wasnt bad. my friends and i went just for the weekend to go sight seeing in paris and all we needed was a place to sleep with a hot shower and electricity, and that is exactly what we got. it wast hard to get anywhere their were 2 metro lines close which made travel easy and it was so close to the eurostar station. personally the rooms could have been bigger as well as the bathroom but it was better then a hostel. i think it was reasonable and would probably stay their again if i was doing another 2 night trip.

"You get what you pay for"

My husband and I were looking for a low price for the hotel room so did not expect the best amenities. We had stayed in a lower priced hotel in Spain at which we were very pleased. Consequently, we were not prepared for lower quality at a higher price in this Paris hotel. The room was tiny, triangular shaped, so that it was difficult to walk around the bed. The bathroom, though new and clean,was so small, when sitting on the toilet, your knees would almost touch thedoor. The bed was comfortrtable, the staff was helpful. . The entire hotel was in bad need of new carpeting.

"Good value for money!"

Stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend. Though the room is quite small, we are satisfied overall. Beds are comfortable. Very friendly staff especially the receptionists. They were willing to help with directions.

Cons: Builders working in nearby rooms in early morning - maybe need to tell the customers. however - the bathroom in our room was new and so we understand that the builders were improving the faciltities.

"The staff was really friendly, helpful and kind"

Pros: The staff was really friendly, helpful and kind. they do know some general english terms, we're still able to communicate with them. besides, the hotel rate is quite fair (although breakfast is not included) since hotels in paris are all overpriced.
besides, the benefit of staying in timhotel gare du nord is that there are couples of restaurants near the hotel and the food there are really cheap and also filling. we could save a lot from there.
overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
Cons: There're some funky smell when we entered the hotel and also the hotel rooms. but that was fine..since we're still able to open the windows to let them out.
besides, the bathroom was not really clean at some point, anyways, it depends on which room you stayed. if you were lucky enough, you will get a nice one. just pray hard.

Pros: My room was very comfortable and clean. hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the hotel is very close to gare du nord and gare de l'est, which is very useful if you want to avoid dragging your luggage about for hours before you get to go and see paris. there is also plenty of eating options nearby.

Cons: The room was the smallest i have ever been in. the shower was all thick mildew and the decor/soft furnishings/bedding was faded and tired-looking. there was no bulb in the bedside lamp; no soap in the shower bottle and no batteries inthe tv remote.

Pros: Hotel was very close to gare de l est station which was great for getting into central paris. when me and my friend needed to print out flight details the hotel were kind enough to let us use their computer and printer.

My room was very comfortable and clean
