This is a lovely hotel, quiet location very close to St Sulpice and 5 mins walk from streets with lots of bars and bistros. We had a beautiful room with a garden terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful and even sent a complimentary half-bottle of champagne to our room as I had told them we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Couldn't have been better!

"Frustrating Visit"
After researching Paris hotels for months, I thought we made the right decision but was very mistaken. The service is nonexistent and downright rude. There is absolutely no language barrier so the only reason must be a complete lack of concern for the patrons of this hotel. We relied upon the kindness of strangers because we were consistently given wrong directions, advice or information by the 3 concierges we met throughout our stay at villa Madame. Paris is a beautiful, amazing city, but I must admit that we were ready to leave after experiencing such a frustrating stay at this hotel. Also, please be aware that there is a school located next door is a huge noise problem bc the kids are literally outside screaming from 7am to 6pm so if you want to sleep in or take a nap...good luck! Yes, the windows closed provides some protection but the hotel does not have rooms with independently controlled a/c or heat so if you're visiting anytime soon , be prepared for intense heat since the hotels loves it extremely hot and the only way to stay comfortable is to leave your windows open; hence, the noise from screaming children permeating your room.
"Delightful small boutique hotel - good sized rooms"
Pros: Delightful small boutique hotel - good sized rooms
Cons: Slightly lacked certain elements to push it into an 'excellent' hotel, ie no extra hangers available when requested, no shower caps provided, slippers provided but no robes. very quiet location especially at night which may not suit everyone

Pros: The staff were very gracious to allow us to cancel the remainder of the reservation since they could not provide us with a room that met our expectations or needs. the breakfast was quite good.
Cons: The room we were allocated would not have been acceptable for a five-day stay, due to its size, view, and noise from the adjacent school yard. the hotel was unable to reassign us a more desirable room.

"We really enjoyed our stay"
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. the location was great. the place itself was charming very artistically decorated, like staying with a friend with great classic/modern taste. i would recommend the hotel for anyone, the elevator is small and there are stairs, so i'm not sure how it would be for someone physically challenged, but it is possible they have accommodations that i don't know about
