Cons: In 2011, wifi in all of the hotel is a minimum. accessing internet in the lobby only is not fun!!!

"Book directly with hotel rather than using easytobook"
Pros: Book directly with hotel rather than using easytobook. their staff made an error with our reservations. we essentially booked twice and had to pay for an additional night due to the hotel policy despite it not being our fault. easytobook didn't help. they are not necessary. you're better off booking directly with the hotel. just use their site as a reference. as for the hotel, it's central location within 20-30 minutes walking to sites with exception of arc and eiffel tower but close to train.
Cons: Poor staff both front desk and cleaning staff. no wake up call as requested, not very helpful with directions. the cleaning staff didn't clean well - leaving trash, dirty glasses, taking toiletries such a already opened hotel soap and not leaving new soap, heat broke down but was fixed immediately, fixtures not working or partly broken which they fixed but this should be done prior to our arrival. otherwise, you're not in paris to stay in the hotel so it's decent, priced affordable and centrally located. decor is old and dark but if you're on a budget it's worth it.

"Friendly, helpful staff"
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. superior rooms were good size. nicely decorated rooms and common areas. updated bathrooms.
Cons: Wifi only available in lobby. one room's lighting was a little dark. need more plugs.

With the high number of rooms in Villa Pantheon, choice is plentiful. It is comforting to know that the rooms are of a 4-star level. A station nearby is Saint Germain des Pres metro station. Not only Ile de la Cite and Ile St.Louis, but also Jardin du Luxembourg and Jardin de Plantes, are a pleasant walk's distance from here. From this location you can get to Pantheon, as it is situated 0.3 km (0.2 miles) from here. Notre Dame is near this hotel, and well worth visiting.
The presence of a bar/lounge, a terrace and a BBQ/picnic area are all good reasons to choose to be a guest of Villa Pantheon. Not only is a translation service offered, but also a shoe polishing service and the possibility for computer rental.
