The 8th Arrondisement, Champs-Elysees in Paris is located on the Right Bank of the River Seine. This district has the Palais Garnier, or the Paris Opera, as a main focal point. A lovely area to visit, the 8th arrondissment also features the wide avenue known as Champs-Elysees, and the Elysee Palace, which is the official home of France’s President. This district is also one of the main business areas in all of Paris. More people are employed in this particular arrondissement than in any of the other twenty.
Other attractions in the Champs Elysees Paris are the Arc de Triomphe, the Place de la Concorde and the Obelisk inside of it, and the Palais de la Decouverte. These points of interest are very interesting for all age groups. The Pont des Invalides, the Musee Cernuschi, the Chapelle Expiatoire, and the Gare Saint-Lazare are all attractions you will not want to miss.
