Located in the southwest of the city of Paris, the Porte de Versailles Paris is situated on the Left Bank of the River Seine. This district is heavily residential, but there are still several points of interest here for the traveler. The Porte de Versailles, also known as the Parc des Expositions is a large international exhibit center that receives visitors from all over the world. Also highly enjoyable is the Musee Pasteur, a museum that is located in the very apartment where the scientist lived and worked. You will see scientific instruments, personal effects belonging to Pasteur, and Pasteur’s own highly decorated mausoleum.
There are other attractions in the area that should be of interest to tourists. The Tour Montparnasse is the tallest building in Paris, and along with the Gare Montparnasse is located at the border of the 14th Arrondisement. The Eiffel Tower is one point of interest that no visitor to Paris would want to miss seeing. The Front de Seine high-rise district is another attraction well worth visiting.
