The Trocadero Paris is located on the Right Bank of the River Seine in the city of Paris. This district contains many diplomatic embassies, and quite a few sporting venues. Roland Garros Stadium, of French Open tennis fame, the Stade Jean-Bouin, and the Parc des Princes, home of the Paris Saint-Germain football club are all attractions that any sports fan would love to see. The Musee Marmottan is a lovely museum that features works of art by Monet.
The Trocadero train station was named after the site of the Palais de Chaillot, situated across the River Seine from the Eiffel Tower. There are several museums in the Palais de Chaillot. The Musee national de la Marine is a naval museum, while the Musee de l’Homme features ethnology exhibits. These two museums are in the southern wing of the Palais de Chaillot. The Cite de l’Architechture et du Patrimoine and the Musee national des Monuments Francais are located in the eastern wing of the Palais de Chaillot.
