La Chapelle metro station is located north of Gare du Nord, suspended about Boulevard de la Chapelle. This station sits on metro line 2, which runs from Porte Dauphine in the west to Nation in the east. Boulevard de la Chapelle marks the boundary between Paris’ 10th and 18th arrondissements and this area was formerly the village of La Chapelle. La Chapelle is connected to Gare du Nord overland rail and metro stations via an underground walkway, which can be reached by descending several flights of stairs after entering the station
