Hotels in Odéon
Odéon is perhaps the most famous of the six national theaters that can be found along the Seine River. Dating back to the late 18th century, the Odéon is a good example of classical architecture in the French style and was originally built in the garden of the Hotel de Conde where it served the locals for many years. The Odéon remains, and frequently hosts new shows and attractions in keeping with its long-standing history as the premiere stop for the theater arts in Paris. Considering all that has gone on here, its no surprise it has this reputation. Marie Antoinette attended the first show to be held at the Odéon in 1782, and Beaumarchaises opera, the Marriage of Figaro made its world debut there just two years later.
