Belleville Hotels and Accommodation
Belleville, also called Belleville-sur-Saone or Belleville-en-Beaujolais, is situated in the Rhone-Alps region of France. It was founded in the 12th century by Humbert III, but quickly became a financial and commercial center in the region. One remnant of this history is the town’s position on the Paris – Marseille train line, as well as the development of a secondary line that ran from Belleville to Beaujeu from 1869 to 1987.
The Church of Notre-Dame de Belleville was erected in the 12th century in an essentially Romanesque style. However, it was significantly modified in the 14th century. Even so, the church, along with its abbey and cloister, are some of the best preserved religious structures in the region. There are a number of options for your stay here at EasyToBook.com, including cheap and budget hotel rooms. Though no matter where in town you find your hotel room, be sure to see the historic hotel building that started serving patrons in 1733.
