Pros: Hotel was near to gare de rouen rive drat and almost all attractions are nearby. in fact, the city itslef is very small. good value for money and room was clean.
Cons: Wooden floors are noisy and locks are very old. no door to the shower. but, these are small observations which is not a big issue to stay in this hotel.

Pros: They allowed us to keep our 2 dogs with us and, as the dogs were well behaved, we were not charged extra.
Cons: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the decor is very dated and unattractive. the tv was positioned in such a way that the picture distorted and difficult to see. we booked for 3 nights. when we arrived we told the owner that we had changed our plans and would like to cancel the last night but we were charged for the full 3 nights because we had not notified him before our actual check in date. is this usual? he still had 2 days notice? nevertheless, we found the owner, thomas, charming and friendly.

Pros: The member of staff was very pleasant and helpful. with our limited french she was very patient and spoke in english where she could.
Cons: The accommodation was very basic. the bar was very poorly stocked and closed at 9pm. there was a huge fireplace, but despite the icy conditions, no fire.
