Offemont is located in the Territoire de Belfort department and the Franche-Comte region of France between the Vosges and Jura Mountains. Its origins trace back to the Gallo-Roman period when pottery, tile, and brick manufacturing was the main source of economy. Once part of nearby Belfort, the town became autonomous in the mid 1800s.
