Offemont is located in the Territoire de Belfort department and the Franche-Comte region of France between the Vosges and Jura Mountains. Its origins trace back to the Gallo-Roman period when pottery, tile, and brick manufacturing was the main source of economy. Once part of nearby Belfort, the town became autonomous in the mid 1800s. An area of fortification during the Prussian War, the towns of Belfort and Offemont are still protected by the Fort of Rudolphe Mount nestled in the wooded hills surrounding the area. The train line now runs into Belfort, which also provides access to Castle Rougemont.
At EasyToBook.com, hotels in Offemont feature traditional architecture, such as that found in the Saint-Christophe of Belfort Cathedral, which was built of pink sandstone in the mid 19th century. Many of them contain their own eateries, such as the microbrewery and restaurant at Arcantis Mon Village, although Restaurant au Sabot D’Annie and Le Briand are also excellent choices for local cuisine. A relaxing and scenic French vacation is what you will find during your stay in an Offemont hotel.
