Trigance is a small but stately medieval village that is located in the department of Var, in France. It is situated upon a large bed of rocks that form a rough hillside, and the view from the village is one of a good sized plateau. Above the town, almost like a sentinel, is the Trigance Castle. This historic structure was built in the latter part of the 11th century by a group of caring monks. Later, during the time where Feudalism was in vogue, many feudal lords lived in this castle.
