There are many great historical buildings located throughout the many lovely towns in Germany. Some of these old buildings date from as far back as the year 1500. The buildings in the town of Freiburg im Breisgau are some of the nicest in the entire country of Germany. One of these buildings that is sure to impress any visitor to its grounds is the Kaufhaus Building. The building is quite old and historically rich.
The Kaufhaus was first opened in the year of 1520, and was at the time a meeting hall used for not only holding meetings but also to house festivals for the town. The Kaufhaus Building is great just to see from the outside, due to its having a very beautiful ornate façade. The lovely Kaufhaus Building is on occasion used for the same purposes to this day and if you come at the right time you may be able to join in on a festival.
