There are many great sight to see and things to do in Mannheim in Germany. Possibly one of the most recognizable sights in the entire city is the Wasserturm which is the city Water Tower. This huge tower is in the lovely park located in the eastern area of town. This very relaxing area has the lovely water tower sitting amongst huge shade trees and beautiful fountains. This great Water Tower of Mannheim was completed in the year 1889. This huge tower stands an astounding 60 metres high.

The water tower was the main supply of water to the city up until the year 2000. This lovely tower offers visitors an amazing view of the city and over the park. The tower is also lit up in the night time hours to give you a little extra time to see all of its beauty. The water tower in Mannheim is a must see when visiting the city.
