Hegelhaus Museum Stuttgart

One of the most acclaimed and renowned philosophers of the 18th century (a high distinction as anyone familiar with the discipline is sure to know), Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel changed the way we think in many ways with his responses to the critiques of Kant. Often lambasted for his depth and complexity that are daunting to students, we can see from the house that Hegel grew up in that he was in many ways a simple man. The house features all kinds of artifacts and trinkets from Hegel’s life there, including original documents written by him, and various flourishes of antique furniture and décor that are bound to please any history buff.
