This lovely tower was originally built as a guard tower; this tower was built in the years around the 13th century. The Perlach Tower is located right next to the Augsburg Town Hall and is one of the largest buildings in the whole city. This tower is open only from the months of May through the month of October. During these months it is open, the visitors to the Perlach Tower can climb all the way up to the top for a small fee.
