One of the best cities to visit to see some of the best of all these museums is the city of Augsburg and it is called the Holbein House Museum. This museum is located in an old house that was once home to the painter Hans Holbein.

The original house that stood in this spot was destroyed during World War 2, and had to be rebuilt to its current form. The exhibitions that the museum holds change on a quite regular basis. There will be something there to interest just about anyone. This is a great town to stop on a vacation to Germany and has not only museums to visit but also offers many great places to shop and eat.
