Pros: We had a family room and it was beautiful. the breakfast selection was absolutely amazing. they even offered champage every morning. the breakfast room was also very beautiful - a beautiful setting.
Cons: The hotel was seriously let down my their grouchy morning staff.they probably didn't have enough people on duty, but that's no excuse for being unfriendly to the guests. we had to stand outside the kitchen door to wave down a waitress to be able to order our coffees and when we did she behaved as if we were really inconveniencing her. we had to ask for the buffet to be restocked when items such as ham and cheese ran out. after my husband pointed out that there was no ham left, and asked politely if he could please have some more, the waitress grumbled something and then went ahead to clean up two tables before she eventually moved into the kitchen to get more ham. in the mean time my husband was left standing there with his empty plate. he felt that she was making a point of keeping him waiting. no one seemed to monitor the buffet to make sure that platters were refilled. it was a real shame, because generally what was on offer was above expectation and looked fantastic.
