Hotel and rooms modern and clean.
Hotel staff via email(eva schneider), lobby staff including duty manager of day and reservations manager (tomas poulman) all very forceful and unhelpful, i ended up with a double booking when easytobook website said my first booking was unsuccessful as the room had been taken by another online booker, i then reentered the system found another triple room and booked successfully, within a short time 1hr or so when i checked my email i found i had two reservations, i notified the hotel staff immediately via email that the problem had occurred and supplied the reservation numbers telling them of the problem and supplying. they didn't want any part of helping i'd have to contact venere.com i did so via their customer care feedback link. as i was travelling two days elapsed and i had no reply from venere. i contacted the hotel again showing my email to venere and asking them to help as i was travelling. on arrival at the hotel they insisted i had two rooms booked and even though i'd given them quick notice of the issue and asked for help they still considered i needed to pay for both. i spent considerable time on the stay debating this with the lobby staff along with phone calls to easy to book and discussions with leonardo reservations manager. while in the lobby i observed many other travellers approaching the desk with booking problems and noticed a general level of dissatisfaction amongst guests who similarly felt unfairly treated with booking failures wrong hotel wrong room, no room in system etc. the answers where so pat and consistent i ended up feeling they had experienced these issues may times and had a down pat standard answer for each that left the customer out of pocket and with nowhere to go and no satisfaction. while sorting this out i spent significant time on their very expensive internet pc which had no chair and was located directly in front of the lift door so that every time someone caught the lift you had to get out of the way particularly if they had luggage they where trying to get into the lift.

Staffs are patient, friendly and helpful. knowledgable about places around. rooms are clean and spacious for a couple. adequate facilities in room.
Free internet usage in the room would be a bonus.
