Here, you can find artifacts from all eras of Germany’s past, from the Baroque period of classical composition to the trials of the early 20th century. Fine art is also on display, with paintings and sculptures from some of Germany’s most celebrated artists, including the adherents of stark expressionism and the later Bauhaus movement. This provides an excellent opportunity to place Germany’s artistic development alongside its history so as to better understand and appreciate its import and significance to the world at large.
