The BMW Headquarters building has been declared a historical building since 1999, even though it was only completed in 1972. With 22 floors and a roof height of 101 meters or 391 feet, it is one of the tallest buildings in the area, acting as a handy reference.
While at the BMW Headquarters there is a lot to see and do. The building itself is actually four different towers, that are literally suspended on a central support tower. One of the biggest attractions at the building is the BMW Museum, located just to the side of the towers. This museum features a timeline of vehicles produced by BMW, as well as information on different models, technologies and features of the company from its early days to modern times. A café bar and a shop are also found within the museum.
