 "Potsdamer strasse contraversial"
Despite a very nice reception the hotel room looked poor and there was an old smell of tabacco smoke in the corridors decorated in old depressing manner. Though the room was clean it faced the inner well-like court so if you will open the window you can hear the waiters preparing tables, and there was no shampoo in the bathroom - only hand soap. Breakfast was fine. I slept also well. The hotel was near to my locations but Potsdamer strasse is not a funny place at any count. So, I assume that one can find a nicer place in Berlin for around 100 Euro. Best, E

Pros: Great reception area and lovely resturant where a excellent selection of breakfast is served - really nice, plesant area.
Cons: As you enter the hotel door, very poor first impressions, due to old dusty manakin of a girl and child, scruffy hotel halls. these two areas really let this hotel down. if they addressed this i would definately stay agin.

Pros: Pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff and good food
Cons: Some refurbishment is needed in the communal areas. the bedrooms we had were all quite small, especially the single rooms. if travelling alone, it might be better to specify a double room.
