When you are on vacation in the very lovely city of Berlin and you are looking for a concert of classical music, the Philharmonic Hall is the perfect place to go. This buildings is so interesting that it is worth taking a trip just to see it even if you are not interested in going to a concert there. The building is shaped sort of like a tent and is the color of gold, which was designed by the architect Hans Scharoun. This Philharmonic Hall is also a great place to see an opera as well.

The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra is based in this building and hold concerts at the hall regularly. This is a great place to see a concert and you can make a whole night out of it by stopping in at any of the fine restaurants located throughout the city, on your way to or after the concert.
