The Gendarmenmarkt is an amazing and interesting town square located in the beautiful city of Berlin in Germany. This great town square is home to many interesting places to visit in Berlin including the French Cathedral and also the lovely German Cathedral. The German Cathedral is an amazing part of German history and today is home to a sort of museum on the History of the country of Germany. It has information on things from the rise of the Nazi party all the way to more recent political as well as social history.

The building is from the year 1708 and it identical, on the outside at least, to the French Cathedral. However on the inside it is completely different, due to its being restored after this lovely structure was gutted out by a fire caused by a bomb raid in the year 1945. The tour on German history is also available in French and English.
