"Decent room for a group of lads with a very decent price but not much else"

Pros: Decent room for a group of lads with a very decent price but not much else. staff were very nice and helpful. this is the perfect hotel for the budget traveler. very close to the rail system, off licence, shop, internet cafe and bars.
Cons: Make no mistakes this is a hostel, you will have to rent towels, rent the tv remote, pay for wi-fi etc. the place itself is quite old and the beds and furniture aren't exactly high grade (with bends in the bed frames or broken seats or a shower door that wouldn't close fully.)

Pros: Big rooms, with extra (unused) beds that were not filled with strangers to make up numbers. also, soap & shower gel in dispensers was a good idea, and stopped these sort of toiletries from being taken home, just for use in the hotel.
Cons: Lift was out of action from the second day
