Pros: Centrally located - close to sights and alexanderplatz. nice staff, big rooms, good facilities e.g. own restaurant. info pamphlets, maps, and they sell tickets for hop on hop off bus.
Cons: Internet and breakfast not included in price, though both are available extra, but very expensive!

Pros: Eric at the front desk took care of us and was so efficient and friendly. he made our stay all the more pleasant. the room was huge compared to most hotels i have stayed in. the cleanliness was pristine. the waiting staff in the bar/restaurant were superb and very friendly and everyone spoke such good english that it put my halting german to shame. we dined one evening in the restaurant, the meals were sumptuous and generous in portion. location wise, could not have chosen better. only a few stops on the u-bahn to alexanderplatz and walking distance to some of the most historic sites and architecture. also in short walking distance to the museum island which was a wonderful surprise. i was so deeply impressed with the hotel and it's staff that i signed up for the novotel rewards card and aim to only stay in that hotel chain whenever possible.
