Zarenhof means court of the czars; the hotel is dedicated to the memory of the last Russian zar, Nikolai II, and his family. He was not only politically tied to Germany, but also through family relations: his wife was a German princess from the dynasty of the dukes of Hessen–Darmstadt, and they used to spend a lot of time in Berlin. The property offers comfortable and quiet single, double and three-bed rooms, as well as apartments, and is ideal for those looking for comfort and tranquility in a stylish hotel. Among the Zarenhof hotel amenities, guests will find a bar and an Internet Point in the lobby, as well as free Wi-Fi Internet connection and a bicycle rental service. Pets are not allowed. NOTE: from August to December 2009 the hotel will be undergoing renovation to update the guest rooms and the lift. There may be noise disturbances between the hours of 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. The management apologizes for any inconvenience and will do the best to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
