Hotel is across the street from the frankfurt main train station - 2 minute walk so very convenient location if training into frankfurt. hotel is old, but has charm and was clean. excellent breakfast buffet as well.
My biggest disappointment was their internet access. the (free) internet/web was down for my stay - which is crucial these days for business travelers. they need to address this problem.

Possibly one of the best hotels i have stayed in. request for elderly support room was honored, the legendary free mini bar was very handy and so was across the day snacks and coffee. repeating another visit soon...
At those prices and add on benefits, cant think how to find any negative with this hotel.

Clean, friendly, quiet older hotel directly across the street from the train station. big breakfast buffet included in the very reasonable room price. my room had three single beds, so it would probably be ideal for students traveling together. it's not very up-to-date and a tiny bit beat up but completely clean and a great bargain. the mini-bar was stocked with two beers, two sparkling and one still water, and a few bottles of juice, all free, which was a very nice touch. there is free wifi but when i was there it wasn't working.
The wifi didn't work (router problems) for the entire day and night, with no explanation from the staff. in 2009 that makes it unsuitable for business travelers, unfortunately. some of the fittings were missing in the room, which was odd but not a functional problem. there was no art on the walls, which was a bit strange.
