This is the State Theatre of Wiesbaden, home to an ever-changing assortment of Germany’s most famous film and theatrical offerings. The theatre itself is a historical marvel, having been commissioned by Kaiser Wilhelm II as part of the attempt to restore Germany’s cultural dominance. It’s a wonderful example of Rococo architecture that overshadows the landscape for miles around with its imposing façade.
