Greek Chapel Wiesbaden

The architecture of the Chapel is a unique sight in Germany; it contains the large, ornate golden onion-shaped domes that are so typical of classical Russian architecture. As such, it’s almost an international attraction, and visitors can enjoy a little bit of cultural cross-over even as the countryside remains uniquely German. To access the church, one must make use of a private railway that winds up the hillside in a fashion that makes the most of the scenery to be beheld along the way. Though it’s still in use by the local community of Russian orthodox worshippers, the Greek Chapel welcomes visitors at any time.
