There is a lovely city in Germany called Braunschweig, which is certain to make the best place to take your next German vacation. The city is home to a very beautiful founatain which was built to commemorate a very liked and famous baker named Eulenspiegel. This great fountain is called Eulenspiegel Fountain, and the fountain is covered with animals which is important because he was always making the bread dough into various animal shapes.

The wonderful bakery in which he once worked was unfortunately destroyed in the time of the Second World War. The lovely fountain is located outside of the sight that the bakery once stood. This tradition of making bread in the shapes of animals is kept alive by the local bakeries in that area. When in the city on vacation it is a good idea to stop in and get some bread when visiting this amazing fountain.
