The country of Germany is known for making some of the finest beers in all of the world. The cities in Germany are home to many great old breweries, which still hold to the very strict standards that must be met to produce beer in Germany. The city of Dortmund is the location of what was once the world’s second largest producer of beer in the world, right up until its closure in the year of 1994. The name of this famous old brewery is the Union Brewery.

The Union Brewery is an attractive landmark of the city even though it has not been in use since it was originally shut down. The brewery is a lovely building to visit while in the city for tourists as well as beer fans. This town is full of great places to visit while you are already in town to see this great old brewery building.
