Castles located in the marvelous German country side are not only some of the most beautiful in Europe but these fine castles are some of the nicest ones in the entire world. The beautiful town of Koblenz is the home of one of these amazing castles. The castle located there is called Schloss Stolzenfels and had been standing proudly upon the hill it is located since the 13th century, until the tragedy that befell it.

The building was sadly burnt down in the year of 1688; however the wonderful castle was reconstructed on the exact site of the old ruins in the 19th century. The only remaining piece of the old castle is the castle keep. This lovely castle is available to take a tour during the months of January through November. The lovely Schloss Stolzenfels is a great place to visit next time you are going to Germany for a trip.
