A narrow gauge railway leading from Wernigerode to the Brocken over a 1141m trip, Harzer Schmalspurbahn is a magnificent sight to behold, honestly. Even if you don’t need to go anywhere, if you find yourself in the area, we recommend taking a trip on this railway, as it soars along the peaks of the Harz Mountains and goes through Nordhausen.
