All throughout Europe are some of the nicest and most lovely memorials. The war memorials are some of the nicest in the world. The city of Leipzig is home to one of the largest war memorials in all of Europe called the Völkerschlachtdenkmal. The Völkerschlachtdenkmal was constructed in the year 1913. The huge memorial stands an amazing 91m tall and has many steps to reach a wonderful viewing platform from which you can view most of the city.

The view from this beautiful memorial is one of the best in Germany and is definitely worth the trip up there. Leipzig is a great place to visit in Germany and will keep you busy with all the great places to go and things to do there. The Völkerschlachtdenkmal is definitely one of the best sights of Leipzig to visit. The memorial is on the sight of the Battle of Nations or the Battle of Leipzig.
