Pros: Helpful staff. central location. excellent views.
Cons: Surprisingly, the 'hot' food at breakfast is not kept warm as in most hotels and goes cold quickly in the unheated containers. this was not a once-off situation. i would be surprised if there had not been other complaints about this. cold scrambled eggs are unappetising. the breakfast set-up causes a significant bottle-neck at the breakfast bar and should be re-configured to avoid congestion.

the entrance could be hazardous for elderly clientele as there is a steep step into the lobby which could be easily missed. when i entered the first time, a kind concierge said to 'mind the step'. however, the hotel is very busy with people coming and going all day. there is not always a concerige at the door as they have other duties. this shoule have been attended to in the refurbishment.
