Athinais Cultural Centre Athens

Located inside a building that was used as a silk factory in the past, the cultural centre has an art gallery that showcases a permanent display of a number of Greek artworks from the contemporary period. There are also foreign artists that are featured in the temporary exhibitions held in the gallery. Exploring the Pierides Museum of Ancient Cypriot Art inside the cultural centre is also among the many activities in Athens that you can do for cultural enrichment. Displaying pottery and terracotta, the museum also features other archaeological discoveries unearthed from Cyprus, which date way back to the 4th millennium BC. There are also restaurants and cinemas in the centre as well as an art shop and a bar.
