One of the most fascinating attractions in Tavros that can be enjoyed not only by adults, but by children as well, is the Foundation of the Hellenic World. Known also as the Hellenic Cosmos, this center is a museum that features state-of-the-art technology that is very helpful in sparking the interest of kids in knowing more about history.

Located near the Kallithea metro station, the museum, being among the best attractions in Tavros, has interactive displays of the wonders of Greece. These displays allow visitors to call up and then view some moments in the history of Greece, right from the ancient to the modern periods. Housed inside a structure that was once a factory, the museum also has a shop, where you can buy souvenirs of your visit. There is also an Internet cafe for browsing around on more materials for historical references. Hosting a great number of visits from school groups, the center also has English-speaking guides, which you can arrange to be present during your visit.
