Sound and Light Shows Athens

You can witness the Sound and Lights Show, which is an innovative way to narrate the story of the Acropolis, from the Pnyx. The show proceeds with lights highlighting monuments in the Acropolis, one by one, while music plays in the background with a narrator telling how the Persians attacked the city or what happened during the occupation of the Turks or how glorious the Periclean days were. Considered as among the most well-loved attractions in Athens, the Sound and Lights Show is held from April to October every year. There are English performances that start at nine in the evening and will last some 45 minutes.
