 "perfect location in Athens"
Right in the Plaka district, an effecient hotel, small but comfortable and quiet room for sleeping, closet size bathroom but doable if you are slim, staff professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel provides an excellent complimentary breakfast to start your day and a great roof top bar for snacks and drinks with a great view of the Accropolis, and is within walking distance of any place you want to go. The x95 bus for 5 euros from the airport ends at Stymaga square which is an easy 5 minute walk to Central Hotel. We recommend the Ydria cafe- restaurant excellent service and food, the Athens walking tours, our guide Vassiliki was knowledgable and passionate about the history of Athens, and the program of traditional dance at "the New Regala"? they serve food but If you can, eat first and then go to the show at 9 pm for a fun night with audience participation. The people of Greece are welcoming and hospitable. We are hoping to return for another visit and would stay at the Central Hotel again.

You can get to Parliament Building without any trouble from here. If you stay here, Panathinaiko Stadium is just 1.1 km (0.7 miles) away.

At Central Athens Hotel, breakfast is free for guests. A bar/lounge, a coffee shop/café and a non-smoking area (generic) are located here as well. Great provision for pleasure and relaxation includes a spa tub. A doctor on call is one of the services here, a concierge service is another and a bell boy service is a third.
