Cons: There are two hotels in athens - hotel marina alimos and hotel marina. two hotel we booked is in the center of athens what we have realised almost at midnight. the reservation system does not allow filter hotels by location (distance from location) unfortunatelly.

Cons: Rther a dodgy area. i would not like to have stayed there as a single female as i would not have felt safe wndering around that area after dark. we saw drugs being delt on the street corner just outside the hotel

Pros: It's a nice hotel near to the subway station. facilities where clean and confortable, the food was good, hotel rooms were quiet and peaceful and the employees very helpfull.
Cons: The neighborhood it's very very awful, kind of dirty and dangerous.
you need to go to the second floor in order to get internet signal and pay for it was very expensive.
if you have to travel at night you better pay for a taxi, which is very expensive.
