Having been established during the year 1912, these galleries are acclaimed to be the oldest galleires, not only in Athens, but in the whole of Greece as well. With two branches displaying different types of art, the galleries are also among the most visited in the city. Discovering and buying contemporary art reproductions such as posters, syrographies and silk screens created by popular Greek artists on Kriezotou Street is one of the most delightful things to do in Athens. Browsing the original contemporary artworks and selections of antiques in the Kolonaki Square branch is very entertaining as well.
