National Technical University of Athens

Since its foundation in the year 1836, the university has never ceased to contribute to the growth of the country technically, scientifically and economically. This can be expected as the university is not only the most well-known, but it is also the oldest university in Greece when it comes to the field of technology. There are nine academic schools that make up the entire university, eight of which are for the engineering sciences, and one for general sciences. Aside from its architecture, the number of personnel and students of the university make it one of the Athens attractions that you should take time to visit.
