Hugging the rim of a crater, located on the northern point of the Santorin Island is a town that is filled with personality, known as Ía (Oia). The streets are quaint narrow corridors that wind along the edge of the carter, down a cliff. If you're looking for a great holiday weekend, Ía is the spot to be. One of the places that you have to visit is the Nautical Museum which has a variety of 19th century maritime objects. If you're feeling a little adventurous, you can descend the 300 stairs below Ía, and visit the Harbor of Ammoudi and gaze at the fishing boats sailing out to sea. If you're looking to swim or feel the sand between your toes, you can escape to the Beach of Armenis.
