Archangelos is located on the island of Rhodes, about 30 kilometers from the main city of the same name. Although it only has about 6,000 inhabitants, it is still the third largest town on the island, meaning finding a discount hotel in Archangelos is not difficult. The name of the town comes from the Archangel Michael, who is also the patron of the town. Tourism is important to the region, and it is easy to see why.
