Staying in one of the hotels in Rhodes will give you access not only to the Lindos Acropolis but also to the island's beach resort, the Faliraki, that is touted to be the most developed in the area. Set on the the island's eastern coast, the resort is just nine miles to the south of the town and from the major Rhodes hotels.

Because the resort is popular for its four-mile long strip of sandy beach, it is common to find sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas dotting the Faliraki resort. It is also known to offer every imaginable water-based activity in the island that ranges from jet skiing to parasailing. If you want to discover more of the beautiful tourist spots of Rhodes that can be found near Faliraki, then you can take a day boat trip around the small bays of the resort. These include the Kathara Bay, which features a nudist beach at one end, and the Anthony Quinn Bay, which was is the famous site of the movie, The Guns of Navarone. Other attractions in Rhodes aside from Faliraki includes the Acropolis in Lindos, Karpathos, the Seven Springs and Ixia. You will find many Rhodes hotels around this resort.
