Pros: Excellent location: good access to the harbour, tavernas without the noise from the crowds and a 15 mins stroll to the nearest blue flag beach nea chora.
the view from the top terrace fantastic. my room had a small fridge and air condition. basic facilities but very cheap for chania and ideal if you need a room as a base for exploring the rest of the area. very helpful staff and free internet access. ask for one of the rooms on the fourth floor. though there is no lift between the third and fourth floors but only a flight of stairs.
Cons: Nearest access to a car/taxi was a 2 min walk-if that can count as negative.
