Tourkoyeitonia is found in cental Ano Arhanes and is the location of the town’s castle. It is thought that this castle was builty during the middle Minoan times. Escavations of this site started in 1964. The Resevoir was most likely built in the middle Minoan times and was then destroyed and restored again.
