Tourkoyeitonia is found in cental Ano Arhanes and is the location of the town’s castle. It is thought that this castle was builty during the middle Minoan times. Escavations of this site started in 1964. The Resevoir was most likely built in the middle Minoan times and was then destroyed and restored again. The resevoir is a man made spring that has been partially escavated since about 1921. The Archive is located a little ways away from the castle site and more of the castle can be found here. The walls that have been preserved were built during the Middle Minoan times. There have been several artificats found at this site.
